Malek announces town halls

| February 17, 2016 8:00 PM

COEUR d'ALENE — Rep. Luke Malek, R-Coeur d’Alene announced Tuesday his upcoming schedule for town hall meetings to discuss the 2016 legislative session.

These events are intended to provide a forum for the people of District 4 to share their concerns and ideas, and create an opportunity to hear from their elected representative.

“One of the most important aspects of my job is listening to the broad array of perspectives of the people I represent,” Malek said in a press release. “It is critical that I make myself available to answer questions about how my actions in the Legislature affect the people at home.”

Rep. Malek will host a town hall at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Coeur d’Alene Library and at noon, March 19, also at the Coeur d’Alene Library. He will also participate in the forums hosted by the Kootenai County Republican Central Committee. Details regarding dates, times and location are yet to be announced by that organization.

Rep. Malek is always available by email at lmalek@house.idaho.gov.
