Christmas at the Lake moving

Ironwood Starbucks moves

The Starbucks outlet in Ironwood Square (between Government Way and Lincoln Way) has moved to the building formerly occupied by Schlotsky’s Deli.

The larger space offers seating for 53 people inside and six tables outside. With about 20 employees, hours are 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. The larger space also allows the display of Starbucks merchandise such as brewers, presses, mugs and, of course, various coffees and teas.

Starbucks began in 1971 in Seattle’s Pike Place Market and has 22,500 outlets in 66 countries. Check www.starbucks.com.

Now for the Tidbits

- Watch for news on Coeur Training, G.I. - I thinking of writing a book of short stories. A professional adviser (the preferred way to spell that word) says I should use a different author name as mine is too tough to spell and pronounce. Hmm. On the phone I’ll spell my first name and say “N, like in news.” The listener will hang up saying, “Thanks, Milt.” Sigh.
