Hayden to host corridor plan open house Feb. 25

HAYDEN — The city of Hayden is hosting an open house Feb. 25 to gather public input on a corridor plan for Hayden Avenue and Huetter Road to Kirkpatrick Street.

J-U-B Engineers, Inc., the city's design consultant for this project, will have concept maps on hand for review and comment. City staff and consultants will be available to help answer your questions and receive feedback on the design concepts.

After public input, the draft plan will be updated and a final plan will be developed and adopted by the city.

The purpose of this corridor plan is to serve as guidance for the future of Hayden Avenue when considering commercial and residential frontage improvements and seeking outside funding sources for specific projects.

The open house will be from 4-7 p.m. in the Hayden City Hall council chambers, 8930 N. Government Way in Hayden.

Refreshments will be provided.
