Warming center to remain open

| February 9, 2016 8:00 PM

POST FALLS — St. Vincent de Paul North Idaho's warming center will remain open tonight, and future nights will be extended as extreme cold persists.

The Post Falls Shelter is located at 202 W. Seventh St. in Post Falls, behind the Post Falls St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store, in the Kamps Apartments basement. Transportation will leave from the St. Vincent de Paul Community Dining Hall at 6:30 p.m. on the nights the shelter is open, and will return the next morning.

St. Vincent de Paul is able to shelter 45 individuals and will have available sleeping bags, blankets, gloves, stocking caps, coats, full bathroom, warm food and drinks. The Coeur d’Alene site will be used as overflow.

If you are able to help or donate, please contact warming center coordinator Ben at (208) 771-5396.
