STORY: Go ahead and call it an ad

An article which appeared on Sunday, Jan 31 regarding “Red, White and Blue that You Are an American Citizen” was clearly a Paid Advertisement with no disclaimer as such and is in violation of ethical standards regarding public information in the media.

While every illegal alien has a long sob story of woe, running an alleged news article with “No public comments allowed” is an affront to the intelligence of readers and a disrespect to the integrity of the industry. Freedom of Speech is one thing, brainwashing propaganda is another. Posted “sponsored” articles should be labeled as “Paid Advertisements” to alert readers to its source and its intent. Thank you.
