Petrino, Spear to appear at
Cd’A Vandal event Thursday
National Letter of Intent signing day is today, with the Idaho Vandals planning an event on Thursday at the Coeur d’Alene Resort starting at 6 p.m.
Idaho football coach Paul Petrino, members of his coaching staff and athletic director Rob Spear will be at the Coeur d’Alene event.
Cost is $20 per person and includes food and beverage.
Signups near for rec spring/summer softball leagues
The Coeur d’Alene Recreation Department will begin accepting team entries after Feb. 15 for spring/summer softball leagues.
Leagues offered are men’s, women’s, coed, church coed and church men’s. A senior men’s league is also offered.
Leagues start near the end of April, and there is limited team openings. Individual player registration is not accepted.

King of the Cage returns
to Coeur d’Alene Casino
King of the Cage returns to the Coeur d’Alene Casino on Thursday, Feb. 18 at 7 p.m., with the featured bout pitting Coeur d’Alene’s Tracy O’Brien against Wyoming’s Matt “The Grim Reaper” McComie in a welterweight clash.
Tickets start at $25 for general admission, $40 for reserved seating and $60 for gold reserve and can be purchased at CDACasino.com.
