Labrador announces service academy nominations
MERIDIAN — Rep. Raúl Labrador, R-Idaho, announced his office’s nominations to the United States service academies.
“It is a distinct honor to nominate these extraordinary young Idahoans to the four service academies,” Rep. Labrador said. “These fine young men and women meet high standards to earn their nominations. I offer my congratulations to every one of them. They have earned our support and respect as they stand up to serve our country. I am confident they will make their families, communities and the state of Idaho proud.”
Acceptance offers from the four institutions are expected this spring. Those interested in applying for future nominations to the academies can contact Judy Morbeck in the Coeur d’Alene office at (208) 667-0127. North Idaho nominees are as follows:

U.S. Naval Academy Sarah Kladar, Hayden, Naval Academy Preparatory School Anthony Lund, Rathdrum, Immaculate Conception Academy Hunter Whipple, St. Maries, Kootenai H.S. and North Idaho College
U.S. Air Force Academy Anna Drapeau, Coeur d’Alene, Lake City H.S. Ted Reed, Pinehurst, Kellogg H.S. Mark Schell, Athol, Timberlake H.S.
