Year-end opportunities at Dover Bay

As the clock runs out on 2016, the Dover Bay Waterfront Community is offering some tantalizing ideas to ring in the new year.

Four distinct properties highlight Dover Bay’s “Only One Left Sale,” a limited-time chance for homebuyers to claim their own piece of North Idaho paradise. The four properties are the last homes and/or home sites currently available in their respective neighborhoods on or near the shores of breathtaking Lake Pend Oreille.

“We really want to make a deal,” said Marie Garvey, director of sales and marketing for Dover Bay.

The “Only One Left Sale” includes:

• A move-in ready, luxury condo in Marina Town, located on the water and featuring direct views and walking access to Lake Pend Oreille. The two-bedroom, two-bath home features premium finishes throughout the property. Price is $579,000.

The Marina Town neighborhood is a collection of single level, walk-out and upper level options, with 2-4 bedrooms, 2-4 baths and two-car garages. The fully landscaped waterfront homes include a one-year warranty, and residents enjoy a private courtyard and more than 500 feet of private beach and lake frontage.

• A scenic home site on Opal Court inside the Bayside North neighborhood. Bayside North is surrounded by the natural landscapes of the Walson Wetland Park, and the area is overloaded with fantastic views of the Selkirk and Cabinet mountain ranges.

Bayside North has a secluded feel with mature trees and green space never to be altered, but is still within walking distance of the Dover Bay Marina amenities. The home site is offered at $99,900.

• A waterfront home site in the unparalleled West Dover Bay neighborhood. A scenic trail along natural, dedicated green space leads to an existing privately shared dock sheltered in the inlet by a natural peninsula. The 120-foot dock is share by only five

residences in total, providing secluded and convenient access to the waterway. Build your own bungalow-craftsman style home in this location. Home site is listed at $174,900.

• A detailed and loaded one-bedroom plus loft bedroom, two bath home in the Parkside Bungalows. Home features a fireplace, large entertainment deck, all appliances included in a top-of-the-line kitchen, and fully landscaped green space. The home currently has a pending sale, but interested parties are still encouraged to inquire about the property. New construction is also available in the Parkside Bungalows, which combines “family lake-cabin” styles with modern amenities.

All neighborhoods in the Dover Bay Waterfront Community have easy access to the Marina Village, which includes a 274-slip marina, seasonal full-service restaurant (currently closed until spring), market, tennis and volleyball courts and a fitness center featuring an outdoor, year-round, heated swimming pool and spa.

This time of year provides a unique opportunity to tour and preview the Dover Bay community while hitting the slopes at Schweitzer Mountain Resort, just 12 miles from Dover Bay. Skiers can book winter vacations at Dover Bay Resort, which is often less expensive than renting on the mountain but still provides premium amenities and proximity to the restaurants and shops in Sandpoint.

Dover Bay also has lift ticket and lodging deals available now, and weekly deals are posted at DoverBayBungalows.com.

In total, the Dover Bay Waterfront Community covers 285 acres of forest, lakes and open meadows. The Dover city beach measures 2.6 acres with 3,000 feet of waterfront on two sides. Walking bridges and wildlife viewing areas meander through the community and connect to broader nature preserves in the area.
