• WOMEN’S BASKETBALL

COEUR d’ALENE — Giavanna Sorn scored 17 points for North Idaho College in a 64-62 win over a group of North Idaho All-Stars at Rolly Williams Court on Saturday.

Natalie Nichols and Sydney Smyly — formerly Butler — scored 16 points each for the All-Stars, a group of former area standouts.

Shanna Floerchinger had nine points and 17 rebounds for NIC (5-3), which is off until the Lower Columbia Classic in Longview, Wash., Dec. 28-30.
