KOHLES: The smart choice

I have always known I have a smart grandson, but recently I learned he is wise beyond his years. His statement, “Everyone just needs to lighten up,” really got me thinking.

When people get angry at others’ political or religious beliefs, it not only clouds their thinking, but also their hearts. It is very difficult to extend kindness to anyone with whom you are angry. It is also very difficult to make wise decisions while in a state of anger.

This is why I am supporting Richard Kohles for State Representative, District 2B. His campaign theme is “Kindness.” He believes in FIRST asking, “How would this legislation or program help the people of Idaho?”

It is time to “lighten up” and let go of the anger and work together for this beautiful state.
