Toddler dies

The toddler who suffered severe head injuries Friday in Coeur d'Alene has died at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane.

Maliki Wilburn was 17 months old.

The child's stepfather, Joseph John Davis, was arrested after being questioned by Coeur d'Alene police investigators.

Detectives are now working with the Kootenai County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office regarding the appropriate criminal charges Davis.
