AMADOR: A political ironman

| August 28, 2016 9:00 PM

A couple of years ago, my wife and I had the opportunity to visit Coeur d’Alene to participate in the Ironman race. Because my wife is a professional triathlete we travel to many cities throughout the world and often stay with host families at the event location. While visiting Coeur d’Alene, we had the opportunity to stay with Julie and Paul Amador who opened their home and hosted us during our visit.

Over the past couple of years we have stayed in touch with Paul and Julie and have shared our life stories with each other from a distance. We have watched over the past several months with great excitement as Paul has run for the Idaho Legislature. Although I don’t consider myself a particularly political person, what I do know is that Coeur d’Alene would be very fortunate to have someone of such high character and experiences represent the community in the Legislature. Paul brings a wealth of knowledge and skills that will serve the community well.

So often we become jaded by the political process, Paul Amador is a breath of fresh air, and someone who will put the best interest of the community before politics. His willingness to freely open his home to us is evidence of his generosity and character. I encourage all voters in Coeur d’Alene to vote for Paul Amador. He is without a doubt a great investment in your future.
