LIBRARY: Beware 'the policy'
I am writing to inform any resident who uses the Hayden library. If you do not know about “the policy” you might just get stuck with fines for materials you have checked out.
This is the third time I have had to pay because “the policy” is to put your books, etc., into a back room until the end of the day. Please also know that if you bring your materials back and it’s close to closing time, “the policy” means they will not check them in until the next day — yet another fine. To the young girl with black glasses, I do not appreciate your disrespectful attitude about “the policy.” Has anyone ever seen a long line at the library? There is no reason why your books, etc., cannot be checked in at time of return.
Just to let you know, Coeur d’Alene and Post Falls libraries do not have this money scamming “policy.” Oh and by the way, please make sure you get a receipt for any money paid. Just because you pay does not mean they cleared it in the computer. Sorry Hayden library, but “the policy” lost any more donations from me.
