Mueller, a junior forward from Post Falls High, was named to the preseason All-Pac-12 first team, the conference announced. The voting is made by Pac-12 coaches. Mueller, who earned Far West All-Region and Capital One Academic All-District honors last season, scored six goals in 2015 to bring his career total to 17 goals.

Bare, a sophomore midfielder/defender from Lake City High, had an assist in the Bengals (1-1) 4-2 win over Houston Baptist on Sunday in Pocatello.

Brenna Meehan

College of Idaho volleyball

Meehan, a junior from Post Falls High and NIC, leads the Coyotes (1-3) of the NAIA Cascade Conference with 48 kills after the team’s season opening weekend at the Sumer Slam Tournament in La Miranda, Calif. Meehan led the team in kills in matches against The Masters (14) and Westmont (13).
