Crime task force seeks Gonzales

The North Idaho Violent Crimes Task Force is seeking information leading to the apprehension of Eric Anthony Gonzales.

Gonzales is being sought based on a Kootenai County felony warrant charging him with felony malicious injury to property, and two failure to appear warrants for violation of a no-contact order and domestic battery. These are $65,000 bond warrants with United States extradition.

Gonzales, 34, is a Hispanic male. He is 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing 170 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. Gonzales was last known to be living in Post Falls.

The violent crimes task force — consisting of members of the FBI, Idaho State Police, Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office, Coeur d’Alene Police Department, Post Falls Police Department, Idaho Department of Correction and Bonner County Sheriff’s Office — is tasked with locating and apprehending violent fugitives charged with such crimes as homicide, bank robbery, robbery, kidnapping, rape / sexual assault, felonious assault, arson, drug trafficking, etc.
