PREP GIRLS SOCCER: Suchoski scores pair to rally St. Maries

ST. MARIES — Bethan Suchoski scored two unnassisted second-half goals to lead the St. Maries Lumberjacks past the Bonners Ferry Badgers 2-1 in Intermountain League play on Monday at St. Maries High.

“We played well, and tied our (win total) from last year,” St. Maries coach Brad Groce said. “The girls never gave up, and we look forward to playing our next game.”

The Lumberjacks (1-0) will play today at Priest River.
