Bike rodeo is Saturday

COEUR d'ALENE — Children 5 and older will have an opportunity to learn about bike safety during a bike rodeo Saturday.

The bike rodeo, presented by Candlelight Fellowship, Skate Plaza and BikeCDA, will take place from 9 a.m. to noon in the Skate Plaza parking lot at Highway 95 and Dalton Avenue.

Kids are encouraged to bring their helmets and bikes for hands-on riding, bike inspections, helmet checks and tips on maintenance and repair.

The event will include refreshments, a bike giveaway and free North Idaho State Fair tickets for each child. Registration ends at 11 a.m.
