| August 21, 2016 9:00 PM

With open arms, our Lord welcomed Linda Pol into his loving home on Aug. 18, 2016. With heavy hearts, her family releases her into His loving arms for safe keeping. Linda Marie Mickelson was born on May 18, 1948, to Woody and Evelyn Mickelson in Spokane, Wash.

Linda was a 1966 graduate of Coeur d’Alene High School. She worked for many years at the Owl Café in Hayden, Idaho as waitress and cook. She was also employed at The Baby Store in Spokane for 20 years as manager and “all around everything person." Linda was very well known within the auction and flea market families having worked for many of them throughout the years. Linda is survived by: her husband John Pol of Post Falls, Idaho, her son John Pol (children Jack and Tabby) of Sacramento, Calif., her daughter Janice Pol (daughters Mary Anne and Aiden Stanley) of Montana. Linda is also survived by her brothers and sisters: Mick (Lee) Mickelson and wife Thayla of Prosser, Wash., Jerre Mickelson of Post Falls, Idaho and Kenny Mickelson of Borrego Springs, Calif., Karen Mickelson Kacalek (husband Pat) of Post Falls, Kathy Mickelson Lindsey of Coeur d’Alene and sister-in-law Delores Helgeson of Spokane Valley, Wash. as well as many nieces and nephews. Linda was preceded in death by her parents and younger brother. Linda is going to be missed by so many. Please, my love, rest in Peace. There will be an open house held at their home at 912 Shasta in Post Falls on Saturday, Aug. 27 from noon-8 p.m. The family requests that in lieu of flowers that donations be made in Linda’s name to Hospice House of North Idaho (9920 Prairie Ave., Coeur d’Alene, Idaho). Our many thanks to the fantastic people at the Cancer Center of Post Falls and the wonderful staff at the Hospice House of North Idaho. Oh, how Linda adored those grandchildren. English Funeral Chapel, Post Falls is in care of arrangements.
