Mamma Mia!
Dancing queens, get ready to face your Waterloo.
Arrival from Sweden, touted as the world’s biggest ABBA tribute show, is coming to The Coeur d’Alene Resort.
Tickets are $39 and are on sale now for the Oct. 7 show.
Show organizers say hits like: “Dancing Queen,” “Mamma Mia,” “Take A Chance,” “The Winner Takes It All,” “Waterloo,” “Fernando,” “Knowing Me Knowing You,” and many more are delivered with such accuracy it’s hard to believe the real ABBA is not on stage.
ABBA started in 1971 and ended as a group in 1982. As Sweden’s greatest music export, ABBA has sold almost 400 million records. Their legacy lives on in the musical and movie, “Mamma Mia,” and ABBA The Museum opened in Stockholm, Sweden, in 2013.
Arrival from Sweden, a 12-piece band, was founded by Vicky Zetterberg in 1995 in Gothenburg, Sweden. Since 2007, the show has made 42 successful tours in the U.S. and sold out arenas and venues throughout the world since 1995.
The tribute group performs in exact copies of the original stage clothes of ABBA, a permission granted by ABBA’s clothing designer. Arrival from Sweden is also the only one given an unreleased ABBA song directly from Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson of ABBA. The song “Just A Notion” is soon due for a worldwide release.
Concert-goers on Oct. 7 in Coeur d’Alene will enjoy access to a full bar and dance area.
Tickets can be purchased by calling 877-541-9975 or in person at The Coeur d’Alene Resort, 115 S. Second Street.
