VANCOUVER, British Columbia — Denis Diaz allowed one hit over six innings as the Vancouver Canadians shut out the Spokane Indians 4-0 in Northwest League baseball in front of 6,413 at Nat Bailey Stadium on Thursday.

J.B. Woodman and Joshua Palacios had back-to-back RBI singles with two outs in the third inning to give Vancouver (8-13 second half) a 2-0 lead. Bryan Lizardo had two hits for Vancouver.

C.D. Pelham allowed four hits over five innings for Spokane (9-12), which left seven runners on base.

The teams conclude the three-game series today at 1 p.m.
