Nyquist, an infielder and rising junior at Gonzaga and former Coeur d’Alene High standout, was named to the All-West Coast League honorable mention team. The West Coast League is a summer collegiate baseball wood-bat league.

Drew Turbin

Delmarva Shorebirds

Turbin, a second baseman from Coeur d’Alene High, has 85 hits in 28 runs scored for the Salisbury, Md.-based Shorebirds (20-31), a Class A South Atlantic League baseball team in the Baltimore Orioles organization. Through Tuesday, Turbin had 10 doubles, two triples four home runs and 24 runs batted in.

Johnson, a left fielder from Lake City High and Washington State, has 50 hits this season in between time with AA Binghamton and AAA Las Vegas, appearing in 74 games.
