KINDNESS: Random and welcome
I was in a store on Ironwood Wednesday here in Coeur d’Alene, when an older man came into the store. After being asked by the salesperson if he needed any help, he said, “No, I’m looking for someone who maybe just left the Starbucks across the parking lot in the old Schlotzkey’s Deli building.”
I came forward after hearing this and told him I had just left Starbucks. He asked me if I had dropped a $10 bill. I looked in the wallet and my usual folded $10 bill, kept for emergencies, was gone. I had other dollar bills that were folded the same way in my wallet.
This man walked across a very large parking lot to seek me out merely to do a “Random Act of Kindness.” How amazing is that?
I surely hope he sees this letter and once again hears my “Thank you!” to a real stand-up kind of guy.
