Eugene rallies to sweep Indians

SPOKANE — Chris Pieters drove in three runs for the Eugene Emeralds, which beat the Spokane Indians 13-8 in Northwest League baseball in front of 5,188 at Avista Stadium on Tuesday.
Eugene (14-5) — which swept the five-game series — has won 12 straight and improved to 9-1 against Spokane this season.
Anderson Tejada drove in four runs for Spokane (8-11), which committed six errors.
Spokane opens a three-game series at Vancouver tonight at 7:05.
