ANNIVERSARY

Jerry and Sharon Park

60th Anniversary

Sharon and Jerry Park, of Post Falls, are celebrating their 60th anniversary on Aug. 20, 2016, with family and friends. They were married in Pasadena, Calif., in 1956. They met in high school in Covina, Calif.

Jerry is retired from a 30-year career at Kaiser Steel and General Dynamics. He was superintendent of primary and structural steel production. Sharon retired after 20 years in public relations from Ontario Int. Airport.

Their children and families are: Jeff Park, Murrieta, Calif.; Roger Park (deceased), Dalton Gardens; and David Park, North Hollywood, Calif. They have three grandchildren: Tyler, Brenden and Rachel Park.

Jerry and Sharon have lived in Hayden for 17 years, followed by five years in Post Falls at Garden Plaza.

EDUCATION

Students from the following North Idaho hometowns were among the 1,437 Montana State University undergraduates who received diplomas during MSU’s 2016 spring commencement ceremonies held May 7 in Brick Breeden Fieldhouse.

Students with two asterisks after their name (**) graduated with highest honors. To graduate with highest honors, undergraduate students must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.70. Undergraduate students graduating with honors have a single asterisk (*) after their name. To qualify for graduation with honors, students must possess a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 to 3.69.

Graduates are listed alphabetically by their hometown.
