Rathdrum Adventure Race

The Rathdrum Adventure Race will feature bicycling/mountain biking, kayaking on Twin Lakes, and a forest run, according to race coordinator Shanie Rountree.

The race, sponsored by the Rathdrum Chamber of Commerce will be Sept. 10 starting at 8 a.m. at Rathdrum City Park.

“For the short course, you bike 5.4 miles, then kayak 2.0 miles, and then run back to the park for 5.3 miles,” Rountree said. “The long course includes mountain biking 19.7 miles on Rathdrum Mountain, then kayaking on Twin Lakes 5.5 miles, and then running 5.5 miles.”

Cost is $40 for individuals is just $40 for the short course and $60 for the long course. Team registration is $100 for the short course and $150 for the long course.
