Lance J. Deacon, 46

Lance J. Deacon, 46, passed away at Hospice House in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, on Aug. 9, 2016.

Lance was born in California, on June 27, 1970, to James and Mary Deacon. He was raised in California and moved to Rathdrum, Idaho, in the early ’90s.

Lance was a farmer on the Rathdrum Prairie. He was also a photographer and operated Deacon Photography.

He was a past board member and volunteer for the Special Olympics of Idaho. He enjoyed fishing, photography, caring for horses and snow skiing.

Lance is survived by his three sons: CJ Deacon of Rathdrum, Idaho, Nick and wife Kali Deacon of Rathdrum, and Mason Deacon of Rathdrum; parents James and Mary Deacon of Lacy, Wash.; sister Kathy and her husband Carl Vacha of Honolulu, Hawaii; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. English Funeral Chapel, Coeur d’Alene, is in charge of the arrangements.
