Dust Devils walk-off against Indians

PASCO, Wash. — Boomer White doubled to right field, then scored on a throwing error by Spokane as the Tri-City Dust Devils clipped the Indians 2-1 in Northwest League baseball in front of 1,936 at Gesa Stadium on Wednesday.

Spokane (7-5) held Tri-City hitless through the first five inning, breaking up the no-hitter with one out in the sixth. Charles Leblance had the lone RBI for Spokane on an RBI double to score Blaine Prescott.

Cal Quantrill struck out eight over 4 2/3 innings for Tri-City (5-8), which finished the game with 17 strikeouts.

The teams conclude the three-game series tonight at 7.
