Ales for the Trail event is Saturday

| August 11, 2016 9:00 PM

The North Idaho Centennial Trail Foundation is holding its fourth annual Ales for the Trail Microbrew Festival on Saturday from 2 to 8 p.m. at McEuen Park in downtown Coeur d’Alene.

The Ales for the Trail Festival draws more than 25 of the region’s finest craft brewers and offers live music from The Rub and Strange Brew, food and fun in the park.

Festival entry includes six 5-ounce pours of craft beer, interaction with the brewery representatives and a stainless steel commemorative pint cup to the first 500 registrants.

Participants who ride their bikes to the event will receive prizes, and members of the trail foundation will be treated to a VIP tent with catered food, beer and cider.

All proceeds go to the North Idaho Centennial Trail Foundation whose mission is to preserve and develop the multi-use trail system which meanders for 24 miles from the Idaho/Washington border to Higgens Point on Lake Coeur d’Alene. The foundation also works to promote trail connectivity throughout North Idaho.

Tickets for Ales for the Trail are $30 and are available for purchase now and at the event. For more information, visit itsmytrail.org.
