Dr. Bartels joins Summit Cancer Center-Post Falls
Dr. David Bartels, a local cancer specialist, has joined Summit Cancer Center – Post Falls. His most recent previous position was as a medical oncologist with Kootenai Health in Coeur d’Alene.
Bartels is now available for new patients and will accept all patients and medical insurances.
Bartels is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology. He has more than eight years of diverse clinical training, with a focus in hematology/oncology. Bartels completed his Medical Oncology fellowship at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and interned at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. He completed his residency at the University of Iowa College of Medicine and graduated with honors from Des Moines University medical school in 2008.
Bartels has lived in Coeur d’Alene since 2014.

George admitted to bar and published in The Advocate
Macomber Law Attorney Greg George published his first article in the June/July 2016 edition of The Advocate entitled “Could Idaho Utilize ‘Cap n’Trade’ for its Water Pollution?”
Having been admitted to the Idaho Bar May 5, George may have distinguished himself as being the only individual to ever first-publish in the same Advocate edition to also announce his admittance to the Bar.
