FAITH-HEALING: Lawmakers must end 'barbaric practice'

| August 10, 2016 9:00 PM

A legislative committee is reviewing our state’s faith-healing exemption law. In the year or so that this review will require, more innocent children will die because their parents denied them access to routine medical care that would have saved them from death. All in the name of so-called religious freedom. Religious beliefs belong to the parents of these children. The children are innocent victims. We need to demand that our representatives act to end this barbaric practice. There is no excuse for the deaths of these innocent children.
