Three people are in custody following an aggravated home robbery in Post Falls Saturday morning.

At 5:46 a.m., Sheriff's deputies responded to a report of battery at the 8000 block of North Chase Road where multiple victims were found lying in the street covered in bear spray. It was determined that the victims, who said they were at an acquaintance's house, had been robbed.

According to the Sheriff's office, Megan N. Wilson, 26, struck a victim in the back with a baseball bat and stole the victim’s purse and cell phone.  Another suspect, 21-year-old Austin R. Kelly, is reported to have used brass knuckles to threaten another victim into dropping a cell phone while another male, Daniel L. Edginton 37, is accused of blocking the doorway before allowing the victims to leave.

The three suspects later reportedly called the victims, who left the residence, back to the house to give their phones back. Wilson and Kelly then allegedly approached the victims' car and sprayed the three occupants with bear spray.

After being sprayed, an altercation ensued before the victims drove off with one of the suspects riding on the hood of the car before falling onto the road.

Four adults were detained at the scene where two small children were also located. Methamphetamine, marijuana, and paraphernalia were also inside the home.

The stolen items were also recovered, along with the baseball bat and bear spray.

Wilson was arrested for two counts of robbery, three counts of aggravated battery, possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana. Eddington was arrested for conspiracy to commit robbery, possession of methamphetamine and  possession of paraphernalia.

Kelly was booked for two counts of robbery and aggravated assault.

Wilson and Edginton  were also charged with injury to children. Any adult who willfully causes or permits a child to be placed in a situation that its person or health is endangered warrants the charge, per Idaho state law.

The children were placed in custody of their grandparents and Child Protective Services was contacted.

Kelly had previously been booked into the Kootenai County Jail 20  times for charges ranging from battery to theft and eluding a peace officer.  Edginton has been booked into the jail eight times, mainly for drug-related charges.

Wilson had only been booked just once prior to Saturday for a traffic offense.
