Meeting to address Interstate 90 project

COEUR d’ALENE — The Idaho Transportation Department is hosting a public meeting on Wednesday to share information on a project to rebuild a section of Interstate 90 from Northwest Boulevard to Sherman Avenue.

The meeting will be Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the transportation department’s District 1 Headquarters, 600 W. Prairie Avenue, in Coeur d’Alene.

The project consists of rebuilding 3.85 miles of Interstate 90. Work is scheduled to take place during the construction season in 2017 and 2018. During the 2017 construction season, work will take place from Ninth Street to Sherman Avenue. During the 2018 construction season, work will take place from Northwest Boulevard to Ninth Street.

The public meeting will address potential impacts from the construction. Transportation department staff and Parametrix Engineers staff will be available to answer questions and address concerns.
