KHAN: A political pawn

At the Democrat’s Convention, Mr. Khan, the father of a fallen American Soldier, condemned Donald Trump for wanting to limit Muslim entry into our country during these dangerous times by implying that to do so is somehow racist. Mr. Khan did not refer to his son as an American solider, but rather an “American Muslim Soldier.”

In prior wars parents and the press referred to our soldiers as Americans, not German, French, Italian, English, Irish, Spanish, Norwegian, Chinese or Russian Americans, but rather, American Soldiers! Mr. Khan himself dishonored his son by allowing his heritage to be used for cheap partisan political gain.
