NIC GOLF: Miller wins again, leads Cardinal women to title

CHEHALIS, Wash. — Nicole Miller of North Idaho College won her third straight tournament in as many tries, leading the Cardinal women to the team title at a Northwest Athletic Conference tournament hosted by Centralia College at Riverside Golf Course.
Miller shot 78-76—154, 11 over par for the two-day tourney, good for an eight-stroke victory. NIC shot 491, five strokes better than Bellevue.
Haley Rotchford of Community Colleges of Spokane, a Lakeland High grad, tied for 10th with an 86-88—174.
On the men’s side, Luke Logan of North Idaho College tied for second at 1-over 143, five strokes back of medalist Halen Davis of Skagit Valley. NIC’s men tied with Walla Walla for third at 589, three strokes back of Olympic College of Bremerton, Wash.
