Share your favorite pet photos

Hi. I’m Skye. I’m an Aussiedoodle, although I’m not fond of labels.
Dogs are dogs. Most dogs are great. The worst dogs are good dogs to someone.
My best friends are Mike and Jill Kincaid. I let them feed me, play with me and love me. After all, that’s what we dogs do.
Those of us with slightly bigger brains, not to mention hearts, also find other ways to make our best friends happy. I promise: What I propose will make thousands of humans smile, which they need right now as they cringe and cry during some weird thing they call “election season.” So here’s what I’m asking you, North Idaho Canine Contingent, to do.
Encourage your humans — your best friends — to take a cute photo of you. (Aren’t all photos of us cute?) Have them submit the photo to Chief Photographer Jake Parrish at The Press: jparrish@cdapress.com. I checked and Jake said he’d run as many of them in the paper as “humanly” possible. I thought that was cute, too.
And because I’m an especially good dog, I suppose Jake would also accept Press readers’ cute photos of their cats, horses and other adorable buddies.
Just don’t expect them to look as good as dogs.
