St. Maries boys, Kootenai girls win at Kootenai invite

HARRISON FLATS — Stephen Davenport won the 200-meter dash, high jump and also ran winning legs in the 4x100 and 4x200 relay, leading the St. Maries Lumberjacks to the boys team title in the annal Kootenai Invitational.
Kaleb Brown won in the 100 and long jump for St. Maries, which scored 128 points to beat host Kootenai, who finished with 103.
Kootenai’s girls swept the top three places in the pole vault on the way to a team title with 126.5 points.

Mooberry Relays
SPOKANE — Coeur d’Alene sophomore Savannah Seaman finished seventh in the discus with a throw of 111 feet, 6 inches at the Mooberry Relays at Rogers High.
Katelyn Conery was eighth in the discus for Coeur d’Alene with a throw of 108-8.
Jaxon Fleshman was ninth in the boys discus for Coeur d’Alene with a mark of 131-7.
Central Valley won the girls team title and Mead won the boys team title.

PRIEST RIVER — Eliason Cherrstrom won the 400 and was part of a winning 4x200 relay team for the Coeur d’Alene Charter girls, who claimed the team title at the Priest River Invitational.
Priest River scored 150.5 points to win the boys team title, with Bonners Ferry finishing second with 101 points and Coeur d’Alene Charter third with 73.5 points.
