Delores E. Andersen-Clayburn, 87

Delores E. Andersen-Clayburn, 87, entered into rest and began her final journey on April 1, 2016, with family at her side. She was born Aug. 15, 1928, in Plentywood, Mont., to parents CB and Bessie Robinson.

Delores married Leonard W. Andersen in 1949, and together had two daughters. They moved to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, in 1955. Delores worked as a bookkeeper at various places, and she also worked at the U.S. Forestry Nursery, however, her favorite job was always as a homemaker.

Delores lost her first husband in 1988. In 1994, she married Gerald Clayburn and they moved to Loon Lake, Wash. Delores and Jerry were Arizona snowbirds for many years. She loved life, entertaining family and friends, gardening, animals and the great outdoors.

Delores is survived by her husband of 21 years, Jerry; daughters Sandra Storseth and her daughter, Heather Storseth of Nevada and Susan Miller (Ralph) and their daughter, Kyla (Troy) and great-granddaughter Shayla Hosmer of Texas; three step-children; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 30, 2016, at Riplinger Funeral Home, 4305 N. Division Spokane, Wash. Memorials may be made in Delores’s name to her favorite charity the Shriners Hospitals for Children. Online guest book at www.riplingerfuneralhome.com.
