CONSOLIDATE: I'll drink to that

A recent letter to the editor about consolidating our courts and county offices to the jail and fairgrounds location where there is plenty of lower priced property is an excellent idea. But the major drawbacks are:

1. It is way too far from the downtown.

2. Cocktail power lunch scene.

3. Too far from the 5 o’clock “Movers and Shakers’” cocktail hour. Maybe we could talk someone into building a four-story bar across the street from the jail?
