NIC chamber orchestra concert next week

The North Idaho College Music Department will present “All Things Great and Small” at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 28, in the Boswell Hall Schuler Performing Arts Center.

Directed by NIC music instructor Gerard Mathes, this free concert will feature classics performed by the NIC Cardinal Chamber Orchestra.

Some of the pieces will include “The Entertainer,” by Scott Joplin; “Quartet in G Minor,” by Claude Debussy; “Romanian Folk Dances,” by Bela Bartok; “Fugue in F Minor,” and “Eine Kleine Nachtmusik” by W.A. Mozart; “Prayer of St. Gregory,” by Alan Hoyhaness, and “Summer,” by Antonio Vivaldi, among others.
