TRANSIT: Smells like tax increase

We have been seeing articles about how much is being done behind the scenes to make the transit system better and now suddenly KMPO and Glenn Miles essentially want to take it from the county? Why is that? Are the county commissioners behind adding another layer of bureaucracy? I thought they said they were against that. But then again, politicians lie. Who will pay for more government jobs? I am guessing that it is another way to tax people who are overburdened already.
