PREP TRACK AND FIELD: Magee, Leonard finish third at Pasco
PASCO, Wash. — Coeur d’Alene junior Zac Magee set a school record in the 400-meter run, finishing third in 49.37 seconds at the annual Pasco Invitational.
Grady Leonard of Coeur d’Alene finished third in the discus with a throw of 169 feet, 10 inches, as well as the shot put in 53-3 3/4.
Coeur d’Alene’s 4x400 relay team of Josette McArthur, Carmen Duffy, Megan Drake and Emily Callahan was fourth in 4:05.39. Coeur d’Alene’s Katelyn Conery was eighth in the shot put with a throw of 36 feet.
Lake City junior Jocie Osika was fourth in the discus with a throw of 124-1.
Tahoma won the girls team title with 55 points. Mead won the boys title with 45 points.

KELLOGG — Kara Steele won in the shot put and discus and Jasmine James took the high jump and triple jump titles for the host Wildcat girls, who won the annual Kellogg Booster Club Invitational at Dale Hunt Track and Field.
Kellogg clipped Coeur d’Alene Charter by a half-point for the team title 142-141.5.
Kellogg’s boys also won a team title, edging Coeur d’Alene Charter 128-117.

Lakeland girls win at
Interstate Invitational
ROCKFORD, Wash. — Tauna Kirk won the 100- and 300-meter hurdles as well as running a leg of a winning 4x200 relay team, helping the Hawk girls claim a team title at Friday’s Interstate Rivals Invitational.
Lakeland won the meet with 162 points, followed by meet host Freeman in second with 141 points and Timberlake in third with 98 points.
Deer Park won the boys team title with 131 points. Timberlake was third with 101 points.
