STORY: Adoring ageless friends

To Brian Walker, Press reporter: Thank you for writing such a brilliant, poignant article (“Ageless buddies,” April 14)! The story and photo could not have been better! Since arriving at the office at 6:30 Thursday morning, my phone has been ringing “off the hook” from senior volunteers and veterans who thought the article, picture and placement on the front page was incredible! It was a story that needed to be shared — and you did an exemplary job!

Kudos to the Coeur d’Alene Press for continuing their unwavering support of our local community, volunteers and veterans. The stories you continue to encourage your staff to write; are well received, and greatly appreciated by your loyal readers.
