Sarbaugh, a 6-foot-4 senior guard who played his sophomore year at North Idaho College, was named the Idaho men’s Scholar Athlete of the Month for March. Sarbaugh is completing his final year of graduate school as an Adult Organizational Learning and Leadership major and has a 4.0 grade point average.

Whitworth golf
Bayley, a senior from Lakeland High in Rathdrum, finished ninth overall with a 76-82—158 in the Northwest Conference Spring Classic on April 10 at Wine Valley Golf Club in Walla Walla. Whitworth finished two strokes behind third-place Lewis and Clark.

Seattle baseball
Sutton, a 6-foot-3 sophomore infielder from Coeur d’Alene High, leads the Redhawks (20-10, 8-1 Western Athletic Conference) in hitting with a .380 average. Seattle is off to its best start in school history.
Derek Bayley
Washington State golf
Bayley, a sophomore from Lakeland High, finished tied for 16th in the PING Cougar Classic on Tuesday at Riverside Country Club in Provo, Utah. Bayley shot a 72-68-75—215, and the Cougars finished third in the tournament with a 6-under 858.
Matthew Wardell
Washington State track and field
Wardell, a senior from Post Falls High, was selected to the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Indoor Track and Field All-Academic Scholar-Athlete team. To be selected, an athlete must have a 3.0 or better cumulative grade point average, be at least a sophomore academically, completed one full academic year at the insitution prior to nomination, and must have completed in fifty percent or more of the institution’s commpetition. Wardell has a 3.52 GPA.
