| April 9, 2016 9:00 PM

COEUR d’ALENE — The Coeur d’Alene Public Library and the Idaho Department of Labor are partners in a program to help improve people's job-hunting and career skills.

From 10:30 a.m. to noon Tuesday, April 19, Lance Kaldor, workforce consultant for the Idaho Career Information System will be in the Community Room at the library, 702 E. Front Ave., to share information about the Resume Builder available through the Department of Labor website. He will also discuss the resources that can be accessed through the CIS site that is linked to the library’s website.

No advanced registration is required for this free, one-time-only class.

The CIS site can be found under the EXPLORE link at cdalibrary.org. It provides information for all levels of career development. The site also includes current job postings from the Department of Labor’s online system of education and careers information, interactive help with interviews and resumes, games and activities for younger job-seekers.

Users can create a CIS account with a username and password to return to the site from any Internet-linked device.
