HILLARY: Reasons to reject

| April 8, 2016 9:00 PM

Dear Mr. Bourget, you stated in your article and I quote, “Despite more than 30 years of lies and smear tactics, she is the leader for the Democratic nomination.” Hey, that is actually “right on,” but does it only go back 30 years? It seems to me she has been lying for so much longer.

Could her husband’s position have had anything to do with her being the first woman to be chosen as a partner in the Rose Law Firm? Of course not — just right wing nonsense. I had a good laugh on your Benghazi position. Your thought was it was OK for her to lie to put a positive spin on negative situations — yipes — to use CNN as a fact check only made me laugh harder. Please read the book or see the movie. They are not political — simply the truth to what happened. She even looked the dead men’s relatives in the eyes and lied to them! She has said she didn’t lie — they have said she did — how about a lie detector test to tell who is telling the truth? I’m sure she wouldn’t have time for that.

Now, about the 55,000 pages of emails on her private server, many so top secret that they cannot even be released to the public. If anyone believes her on this one, I just happen to have some ocean front property in Arizona and Idaho that I would like to sell them. Cheap!

And if Colin Powell did the same thing, shame on him. It doesn’t matter if you are a Democrat or a Republican. If you break the law, you should be held accountable! Maybe adjoining cells could be arranged.

It appears that you feel Bernie Sanders is a one trick pony (phony?). At least he is honest about destroying our country as we have known it. Hillary is actually to the left of him on many issues. They both feel the southern border is amply secure and that any wall would be a waste of time and money — oops, they might want to check with the people in Brussels regarding how they feel about open borders. To your claim that Hillary is the most qualified, I have just a couple of closing thoughts.

As Secretary of State can anyone name one positive thing she did that was a benefit to America? Awhile back she was asked the difference between a liberal and a socialist. Darn it! It stumped her.

Mr. Bourget, I really don’t have time to write letters to the editor but when I read your liberal view, points and facts, I just can’t help myself. Oh yes, you can be very sure that I will not vote for Hillary. Common sense is old fashioned but to me it “Trumps” Hillary and “Cruzes” right past her.
