Foundation, grant database now at Coeur d'Alene library

COEUR d’ALENE — An online resource for nonprofits and individuals seeking grants has been added at the Coeur d’Alene Public Library in partnership with United Way.

“Foundation Center” has been installed on the library’s database and catalog computers. Unlike the library’s other online resources that can be accessed from any Internet-linked device, Foundation Center can only be used at the library, 702 E. Front Ave.

Foundation Center includes a directory of foundations, foundations making grants to individuals, maps showing who is funding what around the world, and a list of print publications about applying for grants.
