Bradley Allen Watt, 60
Bradley Allen Watt, 60, of Spokane, Wash., formerly of Highland, Ind., passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Thursday, March 31, 2016.
Brad is survived by his loving wife, Melodee Watt; two sisters: Hope Ann (James) Wargo of Crown Point, Ind., and Terri (Luis) Gomez of Spring, Texas; two stepchildren: Aricyn (Bradley) Thompson of Lansing, Mich., and John Mosher of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; seven grandchildren: James, Nathan, Xander, Derrick, Sabrina and Melodee of Lansing, Mich., and Leila of Coeur d’Alene; niece Suzanne Wargo of Sydney, Australia; nephew Jerime Wargo of Dyer, Ind.; nephew Luis Gomez Jr. of Victoria, Texas; niece Lori Beth Gomez-Sparks of Spring; uncle Jack (Linda) Andres; he also leaves behind many close friends and his fishing and camping buddies.
Brad was preceded in death by his parents, James and Jean Watt; and brother Brian Watt.
Brad grew up in Highland, graduated from Highland High School in 1975 and attended Purdue University-Calumet. For the past 18 years, Brad has worked for SunGard Public Sector as a software developer. Brad was adventurous, loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed camping and fishing.
A celebration of Brad’s life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 9, 2016, at Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Center, 606 E. 113th Ave., Crown Point, Ind., with Chaplain Craig Forwalter officiating. A luncheon and toast to honor Brad’s life will immediately follow the celebration.
