Library Network talks plans

Library expansion is on the menu at seven Community Library Network open houses throughout the month.

In 2015 the Library Network conducted a detailed study of the libraries, which included public feedback via focus groups and analysis of the library system’s combined 57,000 square feet of service area.

The open houses will offer new and longtime users the opportunity to view and comment on conceptual plans, samples of colors and furnishings that are proposed for each building. Refreshments will also be served. Library staff will be available to answer questions and provide tours.

• Hayden Library - Wednesday, April 13, 4-5 p.m.

• Athol Library - Wednesday, April 13, 4-5 p.m.

• Harrison Library - Saturday, April 16, 1-2 p.m.

• Spirit Lake Library - Tuesday, April 19, 4-5 p.m.

• Post Falls Library - Wednesday, April 20, 4-5 p.m.

• Pinehurst Library - Wednesday, April 20, 4-5 p.m.
