HILLARY: Integrity still matters
I see where Jeff Bourget has written a letter of praise for Hillary’s “qualifications” for the presidency. I was disappointed to note that nowhere were honesty, integrity, ethical behavior, etc., mentioned as appropriate to so high an office. I have come to understand that these old-fashioned characteristics have lost their value in the halls of liberals and progressives but they still have value among us old-fashioned conservatives and, of course, Hillary rates an F in all of them.
How sad it is to see this once glorious country reduced to choosing between two socialists — one open, the other still in the closet — to run for the office of president. I find some solace in the fact that I will probably not survive to witness all the horrors of their programs should either one win but I weep for my children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren (that’s all so far).
In closing let me fall back on my alleged (by me) talent for Limericks and offer the following:
There once was a gal named Hillary
Who should have been in a pillory.
She lied ‘til we cried
And yet she still lied
So we locked her in a distillery.
This infantile bit of nonsense clearly exhibits my opinion of her and what I think she’s worth.
