Coryn Conlan, 67
April 11, 1948 — Jan. 10, 2016
Our friend left us unexpectedly on Jan. 10, 2016. She was born and raised in Hawaii, and moved to California in her early 20s.
She worked for RKO Studios as a makeup artist, and was fondly known to her friends as “Miss Holly-wood.” After leaving Tinsel Town and moving to the high desert she became a Realtor in Apple Valley. Her next big move was to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, and worked as a Realtor for Coldwell Banker Schneidmiller. She truly loved her profession and her fellow Realtors became a second family to her. Although she loved living in Idaho, in her heart Hawaii was her home.
Over the last few years, she split her life in both places. She most recently was working as the night manager for Heritage Place in Coeur d’Alene. This was her new family. She took her responsibilities seriously and enjoyed the company of the people in her care.
Her friends will gather at a later date to spread her ashes in Hawaii and Idaho.
